THE HOUSE BEHIND THE LEGACY

Welcome to our Delta Beta chapter house at 638 East University Boulevard in Tucson, Arizona. This property is a landmark of both Beta Theta Pi and pop culture history. The Mediterranean-style home was featured as the iconic fraternity house in the 1984 film Revenge of the Nerds, portrayed on screen as the “Alpha Beta” house. Camera crews filmed scenes of fraternity life and rooftop chants right here.

Beta Theta Pi officially owns the house, although we are not currently occupying it. We’re actively working toward moving in and bringing it back to life as the center of our chapter. Just steps from campus, this historic home ties us to a legacy that is meaningful to both the university community and fans of the film. We see it as more than just a house. It represents a space where brotherhood, tradition, and academic support will continue to grow for years to come.
